Hello, my name is Riley or whatever else you may know me as!! I’m a hobbyist illustrator/animator with hopes to one day work in the animation industry and turn my hobby of drawing silly cartoons into a career. I’m Australian and would like to study and gain a degree in animation, additionally undertaking courses in illustration, and film & media. I also have a huge passion for history, architecture, film, music (learning guitar but I would also like to learn drums and bass), and linguistics, and I really enjoy reading. I have studied Latin for 2 years now, and I would eventually like to learn ASL.I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to my interests, feel free to ask about anything related to them!! I would also be more than happy to talk about my own characters and their stories.My birthday is on the 19th of May, my favourite colour is purple and my favourite season is autumn. ✧ How long have you been drawing?
I’ve been drawing my whole life!! I became more serious about it around 8 years ago and I’ve been drawing digitally since 2021.
I’m mostly self taught when it comes to animation, however in regards to illustration I took 5+ years of art classes, as well as many extra curriculars✧ What programs/tablet do you use?
For illustration and animation I use Clip studio paint EX and procreate, and tablet wise I use either a Wacom one creative pen display, or an iPad 6th generation with an Apple Pencil. I use alight motion and after effects to edit.✧ Do you take commissions/trades/requests?
I plan on opening commissions at some point in future! Feel free to ask about trades, usually I will unless I’m busy, and requests are for friends only unless I explicitly state that I am taking them. This is due to my lack of time as well as unreliable motivation, sorry.✧ Are your dms open/can we chat?
Yes!! I’m a little socially awkward but I really love meeting new people, especially those who share the same interests, so don’t hesitate to reach out. I may seem stiff in conversation if we've never interacted before however, so please give me a bit of time to get used to you.
